Atomic Wallet Token (AWC) has recently migrated to the Binance native blockchain. We’ve moved a half of the token supply (50 000 000 AWC) on Binance Chain that utilizes its own BEP2 standard.
AWC is the first crypto asset, issued by decentralized wallet. AWC Tokens will serve as an internal currency for wallet’s users and bring such benefits for holders: stacking, discounts on exchange services, extra features for trading desk, affiliate and bounty rewards, dedicated support and much more features to come.
Basically, we have two AWC tokens now. One is the well-known AWC ERC20 token running on the Ethereum blockchain you can trade on IDEX. And the second is the new AWC BEP20 token on Binance Chain you can trade on Binance DEX. This complete guide will show you how to do that.
Log in to https://www.binance.org. If you are here for the first time, set up the Binance wallet. Since it is a decentralized exchange, the wallet functions as a non-custodial one, where you fully control your funds.
When creating a wallet, we recommend following the recommendations Binance gives you, since this is important information you need to know before proceeding next.
Create a password and download a keystore file. Don’t lose it! Otherwise, you won’t be able to restore the access to your wallet.
Back up the mnemonic seed and store in a safe place. Don’t confuse it with Atomic Wallet seed phrase! Store it in a different place. Then put them in the right order in the next step.
If you don’t have AWC ERC20, you can trade it on IDEX. See this guide on how to do that.
To start trading AWC on Binance DEX, swap your old AWC ERC20 to AWC BEP2 using ChangeNOW. Once swapped, send AWC BEP2 to your Binance DEX address.
The work principle of Binance DEX is similar to the classic Binance exchange. To start trading, you need to top up your Binance DEX wallet with BNB coin.
To top it up, send some amount of BNB you want to trade to your wallet address on Binance DEX.
Once arrived, you’ll see changes in the “Balances” tab.
Note: You can send any BEP2 token on your Binance DEX wallet. It works the same way as smart contracts on Ethereum.
Now you’re ready to trade and place an order to buy AWC and trade it. In the lower right corner, you can see a box where you can place your order.
Once your order is closed, your balance will be topped up.
You can track all the activity of your Binance DEX account in “Transactions”.
You can move AWC you bought to your Atomic Wallet. To do that, send AWC from the Binance DEX account to your AWC BEP2 address in Atomic Wallet (starts with “bnb”).
